Government To Begin Construction Of 300-bed capacity Hostel Blocks in Colleges Of Education Next Month
The Public Relations Officer of the Ministry Of Education, Mr. Kwasi Kwarteng has hinted that the construction of 300-Bed Capacity Hostel blocks in all government-accredited Colleges Of Education to begin next month.
According to Mr. Kwasi Kwarteng, the construction of hostel blocks is part of the government’s efforts to expand facilities to accommodate the increased number of students and improve teaching and learning as well since all public Colleges of Education have been converted/upgrade degree-awarding bachelor of Education degree-awarding institutions.

“The Government through the Ministry of Education (MOE) and its agencies Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has embarked on the Construction of 3-Storey 300-bed capacity Hostel Blocks in 45 Colleges of Education across the country.” MOE PRO Further explained.
