Teacher Trainees To Start Feeding Themselves Soon, Details Here
The leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) has hinted that if prudent measures are not put in place, food shortage is likely to hit Colleges of Education across the country.
This was disclosed by the President Of the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana, Mr. Jonathan Dzunu at the Grand Durbar of the 26th General Assembly of the association on 22nd July 2022, Friday held at Hohoe.

Mr.Jonathan Dzunu attributed the food shortage to the inability of the government to pay teacher trainees allowance early.
“In as much as the government reinstated the teacher trainees allowance, the overdue delay in payment is causing a huge challenge to the trainees”
Current State Of Teacher Trainees Allowance
The President of the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana has indicated that the allowance has been in years since the beginning of this year.
However, the Principals of all government-accredited colleges of education in the country also indicated that suppliers are not willing to supply them with adequate food items due to their inability to pay the suppliers.
