The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION
The school is located off the Badu-Wenchi Road. It has a functional Board of Governors and an efficient management team that sees to the day-to-day running of the school. The evergreen nature of the trees planted along the walk paths and around the various newly painted school buildings makes the school a sight to behold. The school has a serene atmosphere which makes teaching and learning very effective. It has two big dormitories for both boys and girls which can accommodate one thousand students in total. It has a well-stocked science Lab technological workshop for practical lessons in the sciences and technical related subjects. The classrooms are well structured and ventilatecenterng students enjoy their lessons in comfort.
