The management of Sky News Ghana Media Company Upon receiving numerous complaints from trainees across the 46 Public Colleges of Education on the delay of trainees allowance, had an interview with one of the officials of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana(TTAG) who spoke to our News Team on condition of anonymity.

According to him, The government has disappointed them and all attempts by the Association to reach them on the payment of trainees allowance have proven unsuccessful.
We’re in the country, you can see the happenings. TTAG doesn’t pay allowances the government does. We’re still pushing forward for the arrears to be paid.

However, everything did not go on we’ll as planned after our visit as a follow-up to the Chief Executive Officer of the Trust fund revealed that, their payment system developed a technical challenge which is being resolved.
