The management of Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) is inviting all interested persons to apply for their Undergraduate Local Scholarship.

The scheme is accepting applications for only the 2022/2023 academic year per the announcement.

Under the Undergraduate Local Scholarship, programs available to applicants are as follows:

BSC/B.Ed Programs

Higher National Diploma Programs

GETFUND Undergraduate Local Scholarship Application Opening Date

The dated scheduled opening of the application for all interested applicants is Monday, 12th December 2022.

Closing Date For GETFUND Undergraduate Local Scholarship

Tuesday, 31st January 2023 is the date slated for the closing of the scholarship applications.

How To Apply For GETFUND Undergraduate Local Scholarship

Visit the scheme’s website at https://scholarships.getfund.gov.gh and complete the required instruction there.

On the site, you will be asked to upload scanned copies of some needed documents for veshortlistingrt listing purposes.

Take note that after vetting, ONLY applicants who have been shortlisted will be contacted.

Application Requirements For GETFUND Undergraduate Scholarship

  1. Have a signed Application letter.
  2. Proof of Nationality (Copy of Passport/Ghana Card).
  3. Admission letter program the program duration.
  4. Approved Fee Schedule (2022/23 Academic Year).
  5. Secondary School Certificate results.
    The certificates should be any of the following listed ones -WASSCE, CTVET, and any other certificate from reclothe unorganized Ghana Tertiary Education Commission GTEC. (where applicable)
  6. Previous academic term transcripts for continuing students (where applicable).
  7. Previous Undergraduate Certificate (Degree, HND, Diploma) and corresponding transcript for applicants pursuing another Undergraduate certificate (Degree, HND)
    .

The scheme added that all correspondences shall exclusively be between the GETFund and the scholarship applicant.

Please be advised that scholarship applications shall be received ONLY through the Scholarship web application portal for processing.
