Inadequate infrastructure denies prospective students admission-Principal, Details Available Here
Principal of St. Ambrose College of Education, Rev. Fr. George Kyeremeh, says that lack of infrastructure is the cause of denying prospective applicants admission to the school.
The principal revealed this during the 4th Congregation Ceremony held some time ago.
According to Him, the college is facing many challenges including the lack of lecture halls and accommodation for both students and teachers.

“This year, for instance, I can only admit one-third of first-choice applicants. Last year I could only admit less than half of the applicants who chose St. Ambrose College of education due to the infrastructure challenges”, he said.
“Although with the use of shift system and the hybrid teaching and learning, the students will still come on campus to write exams”.
“A lot of students could be admitted if there are enough buildings for use as lecture halls and halls of residence.”
He further urged the government to continue the payment of the allowances to trainees since it is the main source of funds for financing their education.
