DUTIES OF MELCOM GHANA WORKERS
The roles and responsibilities of general workers are as follows
•Advising & serving customers.
•Processing payments.
•Assisting customers to help them find what they need.
•Ensuring stock levels are well maintained.
•Promoting store cards or special offers.
•Providing customers with information on •pricing and product availability.
•Arranging window displays.
•Handling customer complaints or handing customers on to management.
For the new vacancies for the SHS/Diploma graduates, they will specifically undertake the following:
•Collecting payments by accepting cash, cheque, or charge payments from customers.
• Balance cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and the end of shift days.
•Provide pricing information by answering questions.
•Following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
•Maintaining sa safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as possible.
• Should be willing to do any work in the shop or adopt sa shift system depending on organizational requirements.
