The management of the National Service Scheme in a press release dated 25th July 2022 wishes to inform the general public especially prospective nss personnel that registration for a total of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED AND NINETY-NINE (127, 999) PIN Codes for eligible Ghanaian final year students from all accredited tertiary institutions in the country have been released to enable them to enroll to do their mandatory national service for the 2022/2023 service year
NSS Releases 2022/2023 Pin Codes For Enrollment Of All Prospective Service Personnel
- Today, JULY 25, 2022, the Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has released for registration a total of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED AND NINETY-NINE (127, 999) PIN Codes for eligible Ghanaian final year students from all accredited tertiary institutions in the country to enable them to enroll to do their mandatory national service for the 2022/2023 service year.
- All prospective national service personnel is hereby requested to access their PIN Codes from today Monday, July 25, 2022, with their respective Index Numbers and Date of Birth on the Scheme’s website, www.nss.gov.gh, and then proceed to any Agric Development Bank (ADB) Ltd. branch nationwide to make a payment of GHC 40.00.
- However, to lessen the frequency of human interaction during the COVID-19 pandemic, prospective service personnel can use MTN Momo. For individuals who will activate their PIN Codes using MTN Mobile Money, a payment of GHC 41.00 is required.
- The Management directs all prospective National Service Personnel to complete their enrollment by Monday, August 8, 2022.

HOW TO START THE NSS ONLINE REGISTRATION AND SUBMIT
- Immediately after making the GHC 40 payment at ADB BANK.
- Or, GHC 41 payment via MTN Mobile Money, your PINCODE becomes automatically activated and you will receive an MTN MOBILE MONEY MESSAGE as a Confirmation of your payment for the activation of your Pincode.
NSS will also send you a text message as confirmation that, your PaPincodeas have been received.
- After making the payment, you can then go to the NSS website. and open this link
- https://portal.nss.gov.gh/registration-signin
- to begin the on and the registration process.
- ENTER your SCHOOL INDEX NUMBER, DATE BIRTH, AND PINCODE.
There are about five steps during your online re-registration. you will be required to save and continue after each step.
- Make sure to fill all boxes that have an asterisk attached to them.
- You can save and pause at a particular step if you need clarification and continue later with the registration. Make sure to read every detail and get the understanding before you finally click on submit.
- After the last step(step 5), you will be required to click on submit.
NB: After clicking on submit, you can never edit and make changes to any portion of the registration.
So be cautious when filling out the NSS online registration forms.
You can print a copy of the online registration form after registration or save it as a pdf document for safekeeping.
