NTC Payment exemptions in Registration and Licensing of Teachers

Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) has disclosed a list of exemptions in the payment for the Registration and Licensing of Teachers.

GTLE in their publication stated three (3) exemptions in the payment for registration and licensing of Teachers.

NTC Payment exemptions in Registration and Licensing of Teachers

The Ghana Teachers Licensing Examination exemption payment covers the following:

1. Only staff of the Ghana Education Service and Ghana TVET Service.
2. All teachers who were employed before 31st December 2008 and can secure a professional teaching certificate from a recognized institution on or before 2024
3. All first degree and diploma certificate holders without a certificate in education who are employed but acquire their professional certificate on or before 31st December 2024. Persons in this category should have been practicing as unqualified teachers before 2018.
