TTAG Speaks On A Possible Extension For Level 200 And 300 Teacher Trainees
According to the University of Cape Coast 2020/2021 Academic Calendar, level 300 Teacher Trainees in the 46 Public Colleges of Education are to resume on 7th August 2021 and start the End of Second Semester Examination on 9th August 2021.
The Leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana(TTAG) had received series of complaints from Teacher Trainees about the ineffectiveness of the online teaching and learning introduced in the Colleges of Education.
The leadership admonishes all trainees to remain committed to their books and join all online classes as authorities are consulted to help provide room for at least a week for revision.
Background
It will be recalled that in 2020 the Outbreak Of Covid-19 has compelled Stakeholders in charge of Teacher Education to introduce Blended Learning in Colleges of Education where some students will be in school going for lectures while others have to stay at home and receive tuition online.
The problems of poor network connection and the high cost of data associated with the introduction of E-learning remains a big headache for many Teacher Trainees.
