The examination council, West African Examination Council (WAEC) is the agency charged with overseeing the activities of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

It is a standardized test run across five (5) West African countries namely: Ghana, Nigeria, Gambia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.

The exam is known as the second external examination in Ghana’s educational system which lasts for six (6) weeks equivalent to one and half months and commences on 1st August – 27th September 2022.

• C4 is defined in percentage as (60% – 64%)
Its denotation/description is Credit.

• C5 is defined in percentage as (55% -59%)
Its denotation/description is Credit.

• C6 is defined in percentage as (50% -54%)
Its denotation/description is Credit.

• D7 defined in percentage as (45% – 49%)
Its denotation/description is Pass.

• E8 is defined in percentage as (40% – 44%)
Its denotation/description is Pass.

• F9 defined in percentage as (0% -39%)
Its denotation/description is Failure.
