The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION

In March 1956, the Accra Circuit of the Methodist Church decided to establish a Secondary School within the jurisdiction of the Accra District of the Church to serve as a fulcrum for educating the young people in the Methodist tradition and the
acquisition of a sound intellectual base which would equip these young ones to assist in the development
of the church and the nation at large.

VISION
The Vision of the founding fathers was for the school to be a fulcrum for the provision of quality holistic education for the youth in the Methodist tradition.

MISSION
To be the fulcrum for the training of students for an all-inclusive educational experience under one umbrella of love within a congenial environment for
good character formation with truthfulness being the core value, providing the necessary interventions and innovations for students to acquire a sound electoral base for service to humanity.
