ALLOWANCE WILL BE PERMANENT UNDER NANA ADDO’S GOVERNMENT…DR. BAWUMIA.

TTAG paid a courtesy call to the presidency at the Jubilee House, on Thursday the leadership of TTAG led by Dambie Abdul Manan met with the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Prof. Joseph Amoako, secretary to the Economic Management team, Hon. Augustine Blay, the secretary to the vice president to discuss issues that are of high interest to trainees and the teaching fraternity at large which needs immediate attention. The association also seized the opportunity to appreciate the vice President for his constant efforts in addressing trainee’s issues and on time.

     TEACHER TRAINEES ALLOWANCE 

The delegation led by the National President of our noble association informed the vice president that there is a rumor that the allowance might be scraped off with the reason being that, there is no reliable source of funding for the allowance and the delay for the payment of this year’s allowance gives room for Trainees to believe it. He further asked about the stance of his government on such a rumor
Dr. Bawumia said that there is no truth in that hence Collegians should disregard such rumors. He stated that allowance will be permanent under Nana Addo’s government since they are committed and interested in building human resources because is the wheel on which development drives.
