2022 WASSCE Begins Today
The 2022 West African Senior Schools Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has begun today, 1st August 2022.
The schedule per the WASSCE examination timetable has today as a day for project work subjects ahead of main sitting and writing.
A total of sixty (60) subjects– four (4) cores and fifty-six (56) electives will be written by candidates in the ongoing 2022 WASSCE across.
Per the timetable, the first core subject will be the English Language Orals.

2022 WASSCE Timetable Released For Candidates
The essay and objective aspect of it will be written on Thursday, September 8.
Referring to a release from the West African Examination Council (WAEC), months ago, they stated that this year, 2022’s exams will finish on Tuesday, 27th September 2022.
How many candidates registered for 2022 WASSCE?
The total number of candidates who have registered according to the examination body is 422,883 which is the collective number of candidates from 977 schools.
A total of 72 candidates have also registered as visually impaired persons and 14 as hearing impaired who are expected to partake in the exams this year.
Issues pop up concerning the conduct and funds matters in-line with the upcoming WASSCE exams which the Minority Spokesperson of Education addressed amicably on the floor of parliament.
