DESCRIPTION
The school was established in 1976 which is 44 years
now. It is located at Akumadan in the Offinso North District of Ashanti Region and can be found on the
left side of the road when coming from Kumasi to Techiman. The traditional color of the school is sea
blue.
VISION
To become an institution of choice at the Senior HIGH level of education, producing high numbers
of graduates who are intellectually equipped to pursue tertiary education, and equally disciplined
and morally sound to live and peacefully co-exist with others anywhere they are.
MISSION
To provide access to Senior High Education to students in a conducive, disciplined, morally upright
environment, to help young people acquire needed skills and attitudes and so be beneficial to themselves
and society.

The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.
