Atebubu College of Education directs L100s to purchase personal furniture for lectures
The directive to Level 100 teacher trainees of Atebubu College of Education in the Bono East Region towards the purchase of their furniture came from the Student Representative Council (SRC) in a passed communiqué.
The communiqué was a step taken to address the lack of furniture in the College after several complaints have been sent to the Student Representative Council (SRC) on different occasions.
Speaking to Power FM, the PRO of the SRC Asante Asare made it crystal clear that their directive was necessary because teacher trainees are forced to move furniture from one lecture hall to the other for lectures and studies.

He added that the movement of the furniture from a lecture hall to the other damages them hence making the College lose the limited ones they have.
With their directive, they believe the challenge at hand can be addressed.
Questioning their support of the decision taken, Asante Asare stated emphatically that the Management of their College is solidly behind them.
Further, he disclosed that for the past years, all governments have failed in attending to their furniture demands hence, with the nod of the Management, they directed the Level 100s to purchase plastic chairs for lectures during the semester.
