Government releases funds to Colleges of Education to settle feeding grant debts
The Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Education has released funds to all the forty-six accredited Colleges of Education (CoE) in Ghana to clear their debts.
The long-standing debts owed by the government of Ghana have been cleared after numerous engagements with bodies that face challenges for the Colleges of Education in the country.
The government of Ghana released a fund totaling GH¢57,460,000.00 to Colleges of Education in the country.

The Government in a press release dated July 27, 2022, indicated that they have released an amount of GH¢57,460,000.00 covering feeding grants and Student allowance to the forty-six (46) Colleges of Education (CoE) in Ghana.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) hereby, reiterates its commitment to sufficient resources and collaborates with all institutions under its ambit in the quest to improve and sustain quality education in Ghana.
