Newly Posted Teachers To Embark On Demonstration Over Delayed Salary
The Coalition Of Newly Posted Teachers (CoNPT) has served a notice to Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) on their plan to embark on a demonstration.
In the letter sighted by our news desk, the Coalition Of Newly Posted Teachers (CoNPT) said, their demonstration is fueled by the inability of GES to generate staff IDs for their group.
The scheduled date for the demonstration titled “Ekom De Yen Demo” is Wednesday August 10, 2022 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

“We have made several attempts to get GEs to expedite actions where a petition was served to the Director-General on behalf of CoNPT but no response has been received from our employers in that regard.
“This has necessitated our call for this demonstration as our last but least resort to register our displeasure to GES and Ministry of Education (MoE) about this unprecedented,
unfortunate and insensitive treatment being meted out to us.
“We wish to start at exactly 9:00 am and close at 2:00pm abiding by routes your office deem convenient. A petition will be presented to the Minister of Education.
“We will appreciate your prompt response.”
