The Chief Executive Officer of Onua TV popularly known as Captain Smart has said that the NPP Government spearheaded by President Akufo-Addo cannot continue to pay teacher & nursing trainee allowances due to the economic hardship that the country is currently going through.

Addressing Issues on the State Of Ghana’s Economy on Onua TV, Captain Smart said, Former President John Mahama took the best decision by canceling the payment of teacher & Nursing trainee allowances.
Calls By Institute Of Economic Affairs
The Institute Of Economic Affairs (IEA) is calling on the Government of Ghana to cancel the payment of teacher & nursing trainee allowance to resolve the economic challenges that the country is facing.
IEA also suggested to the government to review the free Senior High School policy and freeze recruitment into the public sector.
